Saucepans for sauces, milk and small dishes
A good saucepan is one of the most practical pans in the kitchen. Thanks to its compact size and long handle, you can easily use this pan to heat and prepare smaller quantities. Think of sauces, milk, gravy and other small dishes.
What can you find in this collection?
Saucepans from Kinvara and Cheffinger for sauces and smaller preparations.
For example, take a look at these products and compare the specifications:
- Kinvara Saucepan with Glass Lid – 18cm – Induction – Saucepan
- Cheffinger Saucepan with Lid – 24cm – Stainless Steel – Honeycomb
- Cheffinger Saucepan with Lid – 20cm – Stainless Steel – Honeycomb
Which size saucepan should you choose?
For smaller preparations, a diameter of 18 cm is the most compact option in this collection.
Which size is the best fit depends mainly on the quantities you normally prepare.
A saucepan for sauce or for larger quantities?
Compare the 18 cm Kinvara with the 20 and 24 cm Cheffinger saucepans based on the quantity you prepare. The top size does not automatically indicate the capacity in liters: the height of the pan is also important for this.
A lid is useful when you want to cover a preparation; the use may differ when reducing. Also look at the grip of the handle and the space between the pans on your stovetop. Check the oven resistance of the pan, handle and lid separately and compare the base size with your induction cooking zone.
