Which teapot should you choose?
Start with your favorite way of making tea. For loose tea, a glass teapot with a filter is practical. For Turkish tea, you can choose a double Turkish teapot set, and for electric convenience, there are electric teapots.
Then consider the desired material, capacity and, if you use the pot on a stove, the suitable heat sources.
Brewing tea, heating water or keeping tea warm?
A glass teapot with a filter is designed for steeping and pouring tea. A warmer has a different function than a kettle. With a double Turkish teapot, you use the two pots for different parts of the preparation; see the instructions for the chosen model for details.
An electric model has its own heating element. For a teapot used on a stove, the suitable heat sources must be explicitly stated. Borosilicate glass alone does not make a pot suitable for induction. Also compare the capacity of each pot separately, rather than treating both liters as a single tea capacity.
